Construction and Renovation Updates

Winiarski Student Center

The three new dorms in the Winiarski Student Center, Ferdinand, Ariel, and Miranda, as well as theWiniarski Seminar Building, and senior resident apartment, Prospero, were turned over to the college in June. These LEED Silver buildings are beautiful, with lots of windows, comfortable and open common areas, and wonderful aesthetic touches.

The college held the Winiarski Student Center Dedication during its Board of Visitors and Governors meeting on June 30.

This residential center is made possible by Warren and Barbara Winiarski and other friends of St. John's College.

The Betty and Norman Levan Hall

UPDATE: Levan Hall has reached LEED Gold certification!  Congratulations to all who were involved with the careful planning and implementation necessary to create such a note-worthy “Green” building. 

Levan Hall, home of the St. John’s College Graduate Institute is complete.  Staff and tutors are moved in and classes are taking place.

Irrigation Work

Near the entrance to campus, new irrigation pipes have been installed to service the plantings along the road and sidewalk leading to the SAC driveway.  A new automatic watering system is in use on the soccer field, and is working well.
