Construction and Renovation Updates

Site work is being prepared for the irrigation cistern and detention tank.

The new campus entrance will have soil backfilled and planted by Monday August 24.  The new entrance center lane striping, as well as the painting of curbs and gutters will be done tomorrow, Friday 8/21.

The four blue open-end dumpsters on the Meem Library Placita are to sort construction debris for LEED certification.

The Weigle parking lot is currently being paved and striping will likely take place Friday August 21, making it (hopefully) available for use on Monday 8/24.

Construction hours are 7:00a-3:30p, Monday through Friday.

Please keep an eye out for designated walkways and be respectful of the construction boundaries, which are blocked off by fencing.  Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.  Levan Hall is being built as a LEED Silver Certified Building, and is located between the Fine Arts Building and Weigle Hall.

Lower Dorm Courtyard Renovation

All of the rock work and concrete pathways for this project are completed, and the fine grade raking is currently taking place.  On Monday, August 24, crews will put in arroyo rock ground cover for drainage.  Late next week, the shredded bark, crusher fines and open groundcover material will arrive for Saturday’s Community Work Day crews to spread on Saturday, August 29.  The CWD crews will also work to clean the site, thereby completing this phase of the project!

Fine Arts Building Classroom Renovation

FAB 104 renovations are complete.  See the below photo of past work-in-progress. 

Library Re-Carpeting

The library re-carpeting is complete for now. The music room will be completed in the fall.
