
Santa Fe Institute Frontiers in Integrative Biology Research
June 27 – July 10, 2010
Arriving Sunday June 27 and departing Saturday July 10
For the second year, this Santa Fe Institute program for middle and high school science teachers will stay on campus while studying at SFI for two weeks. This group will be working with a multidisciplinary approach to understanding the connections between geochemistry and the development of the genetic code in hopes of inspiring the next generation of scientists to continue to pursue this line of research. Information for SFI FIBR Participants
Your group is meeting at SFI, and will be housed on campus primarily in single dorm rooms in the lower dorm area, where St. John’s College undergrad and graduate students are staying, as well as SFI interns. The lower dorms Polyhymniaand Urania (#’s 29 & 35 on the campus map) are located just downhill from Peterson Student Center, (#1), where you will have breakfast and dinner in the Dining Hall. Some participants will be housed in Kirby (#17), which is in the upper dorm area, just a few minutes uphill from Peterson.
