For the first week of your program, you will meet primarily in the Great Hall, located on the second floor of Peterson Student Center (#1 on the campus map). Peterson Student Center also houses the dining hall, coffee shop, bookstore, and switchboard. For both weeks, small groups will meet in the Winiarski Seminar Building (#54 on the campus map). This new building, part of the Winiarski Student Center, is located at the west end of campus, across from the lower dorm area. Some meetings will also take place in the Evans Science Laboratory (ESL; #10). ESL is located in the center of campus near Peterson.
q-bio Summer School participants will be housed primarily in the lower dorm area in Calliope and Polyhymnia (#’s 25 & 29). These dorms have mostly single dorm rooms, and are located slightly downhill from Peterson Student Center, just a minute or two walk from Peterson. Later arrivals to the QBSS program will be housed in the upper dorm area, uphill from Peterson (about a three minute walk), in Driscoll and Anderson (#’s 14 & 19).
