q-bio Conference on Cellular Information Processing

St. John's College is very excited to welcome back this conference sponsored by the Los Alamos National Labs' Center for Nonlinear Studies back for its third summer program. Close to 200 people from around the world will meet to discuss, among other things, detailed modeling of biochemical systems to understand, predict, and test general principles underlying the organization of cellular signaling. Information for q-bio Participants
Your group will meet in the Great Hall on the second floor of Peterson Student Center (PSC), #1 on the campus map. Some meetings may take place in the Thorpe Room and Fireside Lounge, both also on the second floor of PSC, as well as in Santa Fe Hall (#11). Poster sessions will take place in the Junior and Senior Common Rooms, on either side of the Great Hall. The bookstore, coffee shop, switchboard, and dining hall are also located in PSC, on the first floor.
q-bio participants will be housed throughout campus in single and double dorm rooms, suites and apartments. In the lower dorm area, guests will stay in mostly single rooms in Calliope, Polyhymnia, and Urania (#'s 25, 29 & 35). These dorms are just a short walk downhill from Peterson Student Center. Upper dorms Meem, Driscoll, Murchison (2nd floor only) MD: add dorm map links to these previous 3 dorms, Kirby, Huffman, McCune, and Wagner (#'s 13-14, 16-18, 21-22) all have a few single rooms, and several one-room or semi-private double rooms. The upper dorm area is slightly uphill from Peterson, about a three to five minute walk. Also reserved for your group are suites one, two, three, four, and five, (#'s 39-43) and several of our two-bedroom apartments (#’s 44-46).
All housing includes breakfast and lunch each day in the Dining Hall. Also check Accommodations.
