Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside any buildings, including dormitories. In fact, the city of Santa Fe has recently passed a Smoke Free Ordinance requiring that all outdoor smoking take place "only at a distance of 25' in radius from the entrance to any enclosed area where smoking is prohibited". Please respect this ordinance. However, please also note that fire danger is extremely high in New Mexico due to an ongoing drought, so if you smoke, please carefully dispose of your cigarettes in the small ashtrays or ash buckets located throughout campus.

Speed Limit
The speed limit on campus is 15 miles per hour.  Please take your time as you drive through our small campus, mind the speed bumps, and watch for pedestrians.

Transportation
For local travel, Santa Fe Trails city buses arrive and depart at the end of our driveway. Check their web site or call 505-955-2001 for schedules (the college is on Route M).
Capital City Cab can be reached at 438-0000.

For travel to and from the Albuquerque airport, contact Sandia Shuttle at 1-888-775-5696 or from Santa Fe at 474-5696. Sandia Shuttle will drop guests directly at St. John's in addition to their regular stops for around $25 one way, $45 round trip. Sandia Shuttle will pick up guests from the college en route to the airport with a credit card reservation in advance (pick up time is 45 minutes before the departure time listed on their Web site).

NEW: The New Mexico Rail Runner is up and running between Albuquerque and Santa Fe!  Check their schedule to see if it might work for you.  Click on Connections for information on the buses that go between the airport and the main Albuquerque train station.  It’s a really fun ride!
